Job description
We are looking for a skilled .Net Developer to join a dynamic team in West Chicago, Illinois. This is a contract position ideal for professionals experienced in middleware development and system integrations. You will play a key role in designing and implementing APIs, optimizing data flows, and enhancing user experiences through effective software solutions.
Responsibilities
• Develop robust APIs to integrate Akeneo and Contentful platforms using Elasticsearch.
• Create middleware solutions leveraging Microsoft technologies, including .Net and SQL Server.
• Write scripts for data transformation and automation processes.
• Structure product content to improve marketing and user experience outcomes.
• Enhance Elasticsearch capabilities for efficient content search and retrieval.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Marketing and Education, to align integration efforts with user-oriented goals.
• Work within SaaS platforms to address limitations in direct API calls.
• Document integration workflows and establish best practices for scalability and reliability.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to middleware and software integrations.
• Ensure systems are optimized for performance and future scalability.
Requirements
• Proficiency in .Net development, including C#, ASP.NET, and .Net Core.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft-based platforms, including SQL Server and Azure.
• Hands-on experience with Elasticsearch, including indexing and query optimization.
• Previous integration experience with enterprise platforms like Contentful, Akeneo, or Pimcore.
• Skilled in scripting languages such as Power Shell, Python, or C#.
• Ability to approach technical challenges with a focus on marketing and user experience.
• Strong communication skills to facilitate collaboration across teams.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools like Azure Dev Ops or Git Hub Actions is preferred.
