We’re looking for a passionate and experienced Senior Designer to join our team and lead creative initiatives from concept to execution.<br><br>Role Overview<br><br>As a Senior Designer at YJM Apparel, you will be responsible for developing original, market-driven designs, managing design projects, and ensuring that creative output aligns with our brand direction. You’ll collaborate closely with product development, merchandising, and marketing teams to translate business goals into impactful design solutions.<br><br>Key Responsibilities<br><br>Lead design projects from concept through final execution.<br>Create and refine seasonal collections, mood boards, and trend presentations.<br>Research market trends, materials, and techniques to ensure relevance and innovation.<br>Oversee design specifications and ensure smooth handoff to production teams.<br>Mentor and guide junior designers and interns.<br>Collaborate with cross-functional teams (merchandising, sourcing, sales, marketing) to align creative vision with business strategy.<br>Ensure designs meet brand standards while pushing creativity and innovation.<br>Qualifications<br><br>Bachelor’s degree in Design, Fine Arts, Fashion, or a related field.<br>5+ years of professional apparel design experience.<br>Strong portfolio demonstrating design expertise and creativity.<br>Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) and other relevant tools.<br>Excellent understanding of materials, construction, and production processes.<br>Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to manage multiple projects.<br>Experience working with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.<br>What We Offer<br><br>Competitive salary (around $90,000) and performance-based incentives.<br>Benefits package (health).<br>Opportunities for career growth and leadership.<br>A collaborative and creative work environment.<br>How to Apply<br><br>Interested candidates should submit their resume and portfolio to design@yjmapparel.com and Nathan@yjmapparel.com
