<p><span style="font-size: 24pt;"><strong data-renderer-mark="true">About the Role</strong></span></p>
<ul>
<li>You take ownership of roadmap epics as topic driver, aligning technical requirements and solutions across the team together with the product owner. </li>
<li>As part of the team you will work closely with business stakeholders on continuously developing and improving the product vision. </li>
<li>You always keep the business value in mind when making decisions. </li>
<li>You drive the development process using an agile environment. </li>
<li>As part of your daily work, you collaborate closely with your fellow team members, for example in pair and ensemble programming, doing code reviews, testing, and operations. </li>
<li>You frequently deliver new versions of the product, using continuous integration and delivery. </li>
<li>You work confidently with or learn how to use cutting-edge technologies and tools including but not limited to: </li>
<li>Kotlin across server and browser (we use Kotlin a lot!) </li>
<li>JVM on server-side (Ktor, Axon Framework) </li>
<li>Component-based Frontend (Compose HTML, but we valuable experience with similar libraries and frameworks) </li>
<li>Distributed system architecture (Apache Kafka, HTTP/REST) </li>
<li>Infrastructure with CI/CD (AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, Datadog, Gitlab) </li>
</ul>
<p><span style="font-size: 24pt;"><strong data-renderer-mark="true">About You</strong></span></p>
<ul>
<li>5+ years of software engineering experience, primarily backend development with Kotlin, with some frontend exposure. </li>
<li>Experience with building Event Sourcing Applications and DDD concepts. </li>
<li>Hands-on experience with automation and deployment of applications into cloud infrastructure (e.g., AWS, Azure) using CI/CD pipelines and DevOps best practices. </li>
<li>Proficiency in system design and architecture. </li>
<li>Experience with Frontend engineering, ideally with React </li>
<li>You are passionate about learning new tools and keeping yourself up-to-date. </li>
<li>You are a strong communicator, foster knowledge sharing with other team members. </li>
<li>You take responsibility for the product and technical decisions. </li>
<li>A collaborative mindset, valuing experiments, regular feedback, and honest communication. </li>
<li>Clear written and spoken English communication skills. </li>
</ul>
