IT Infrastructure Engineer
<p><b>Salary: £45,000 - 45,000 per year</b></p>
<b>Requirements:</b>
<ul><li>We are looking for an IT Infrastructure Engineer with a combination of the following skills:</li><li>Previous experience in 3rd line infrastructure support</li><li>Proficiency in Hypervisor technologies such as Hyper-V or VMware</li><li>Active Directory Administration experience</li><li>Familiarity with Office 365 and Exchange Online</li><li>Expertise in Windows servers</li><li>Knowledge of Powershell</li><li>Networking skills (LAN, IPv4, DNS, DHCP, Firewalls, Managed Switches, VLANs)</li><li>Experience with Windows (7 and 10)</li><li>Veeam Backup knowledge is desired but not essential</li><li>Experience in Linux/Unix administration is also desired but not essential</li></ul>
<b>Responsibilities:</b>
<ul><li>As one of our IT Infrastructure Engineers, I will require you to:</li><li>Collaborate with the Infrastructure Manager to ensure changes are planned and implemented in a structured and assured manner</li><li>Test the Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery plans</li><li>Provide 3rd line support, incident management, and resolution for infrastructure issues</li><li>Act on alerts generated by monitoring systems in a timely fashion</li><li>Support the IT Service Desk function</li><li>Proactively seek opportunities across the organization to enhance the infrastructure</li><li>Document common practices, process flow diagrams, and maintain the knowledge base</li></ul>
