Senior Countermeasure Development Engineer
<p><b>Salary: £41,500 - 68,500 per year</b></p>
<b>Requirements:</b>
<ul><li>Detailed understanding of Physics/Mathematical principles at degree-level.</li><li>Experience with at least one of Electro-Optics (EO), Infra-Red (IR), or Radio Frequency (RF) sensors and systems within a defence setting.</li><li>Experience using programming software (MATLAB/Simulink/Python, etc.).</li><li>Experience in at least two stages of model development (Design, Build, Integration, Test, Deployment, etc.).</li><li>Understanding of modelling techniques (stochastic, deterministic, exploratory, etc.).</li><li>Ability to generate simulation requirements, configuration, and analysis reports.</li><li>Must be a UK National eligible to work in the UK and able to obtain and maintain a UK Government Security Check (SC) clearance.</li></ul>
<b>Responsibilities:</b>
<ul><li>As a senior modeller, you will autonomously develop models, add new features to our countermeasure software, and solve customer challenges and requirements.</li><li>You will manage technical work for junior team members and may provide line management for some junior engineers.</li><li>You will analyse, design, model, and verify countermeasure techniques across a variety of real-world scenarios, culminating in delivery to customers for operational use.</li><li>Capture modelling requirements and ensure timely delivery against these.</li></ul>

<p>We are seeking a Senior Countermeasure Development Engineer to join our Electronic Warfare Support Group (EWOS) at our St Neots location (PE19). As part of our rapidly growing Countermeasure Development team, you will provide technical advice and support related to countermeasure development, engineering support, and the delivery of innovative projects. This role presents an exciting opportunity to work with our in-house countermeasure simulation software tool, CounterWorX, enabling the modelling of physical interactions and phenomena across dynamic simulations.
