Job Title: .NET Developer
Location: Chicago, IL - Onsite
Experience: 4–8 years
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled .NET Developer with strong experience in migrating legacy applications to modern .NET technologies. The ideal candidate will have hands-on expertise in migrating applications from .NET Framework to .NET Core / ASP.NET Core, along with exposure to AWS cloud services.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead and execute migration of applications from .NET Framework to .NET Core / ASP.NET Core
• Analyze existing architecture and recommend modernization strategies
• Refactor, optimize, and enhance application performance during migration
• Develop and maintain scalable, secure, and high-performance applications
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth transition and deployment
• Implement best practices for code quality, testing, and CI/CD pipelines
• Work with AWS services for deployment, monitoring, and scaling
Required Skills:
• Strong experience in C#, .NET Framework, .NET Core, and ASP.NET Core
• Proven experience in application migration and modernization projects
• Solid understanding of Web APIs, RESTful services, and microservices architecture
• Experience with AWS (EC2, S3, Lambda, or similar services)
• Familiarity with databases such as SQL Server
• Knowledge of version control systems (Git)
Preferred Skills:
• Experience with containerization (Docker/Kubernetes)
• Knowledge of CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions)
• Understanding of cloud-native architecture
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
