Data Engineer

<ul><li>I am looking for candidates with a Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field. You should have a minimum of 3 years of proven experience in cloud-based database engineering. A strong understanding of data modeling principles is essential, with expertise in both SQL and NoSQL technologies. Experience in database performance tuning, query optimization, and familiarity with indexing and data normalization is required. You should also possess knowledge of database security best practices, including encryption, access control, and data protection mechanisms. Familiarity with cloud-based backup, recovery, and disaster recovery strategies is important. The ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and translate requirements into effective database solutions is a must. A commitment to operational excellence, demonstrated by a history of maintaining highly available and reliable database systems, along with effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment, is essential.</li></ul>

You will be responsible for designing databases that align with cross-functional team needs and upholding best practices in database management, which includes documentation, version control, and active participation in code reviews and continuous improvement. Monitoring database performance using observability tools will be part of your role, aiding in issue identification and resolution. Staying updated on the latest database technology trends and actively participating in discussions on potential integration into our tech stack will be expected.</li></ul>
