Senior Data Engineer - Azure & Data Strategy
<p><b>Salary: £55,000 - 65,000 per year</b></p>
<b>Requirements:</b>
<ul><li>Proven experience as a Senior Data Engineer, Data Engineer, or BI Data Lead in a modern cloud environment.</li><li>Strong hands-on experience with Azure Data Factory, Data Lakes, and Data Warehousing.</li><li>Knowledge of Power BI, ETL processes, and integrating enterprise data sources (SAP, Salesforce, production systems).</li><li>Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage across departments and translate data requirements into solutions.</li><li>Competence in SQL for querying, validation, and optimization.</li><li>Background in data modeling, data architecture, and data governance frameworks.</li></ul>

<ul><li>Design, build, and maintain robust data pipelines using Azure Data Factory and the wider Azure Data ecosystem.</li><li>Oversee the data lake architecture, integrating sources such as SAP, Salesforce, and production systems.</li><li>Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate reporting needs into structured, reliable data models.</li><li>Partner with the BI Developer to deliver accurate and engaging Power BI dashboards and reports.</li><li>Define and implement data governance, best practices, and long-term data strategy.</li><li>Champion the use of data across departments, ensuring insights are clear, actionable, and business-focused.</li></ul>
