Senior RF Test Engineer
<b>Requirements:</b>
<ul><li>Experience creating test scripts/programs (e.g. MATLAB, Python, or LabView).</li><li>Understanding of synthetic testing environments.</li><li>Operation of test equipment in a laboratory environment (e.g. Oscilloscopes, Signal Generators, Spectrum/Network Analyzers).</li><li>Experience with Direct Signal Injection (DSI) testing.</li><li>Experience with analogue and digital RF circuitry.</li><li>Strong background in Electronic Warfare (EW) systems and concepts, including radar systems.</li><li>Ability to work autonomously and task junior engineers.</li><li>STEM Degree or extensive relevant experience/technical aptitude.</li><li>Desirable:</li><li>Doctrinal experience with EW systems (e.g. radar, command and control, targeting, and effectors).</li><li>Experience in the integration/calibration of hardware and software models into a laboratory environment.</li><li>Creation of laboratory procedures.</li><li>Version controlling hardware and software components.</li><li>Experience working on agile projects.</li><li>Experience mentoring junior engineers.</li></ul>
<b>Responsibilities:</b>
<ul><li>Join our expanding Electronic Warfare Operations Support Group (EWOS), which consists of 60 electronic warfare specialists from diverse backgrounds. You will help us plan and support domestic and international trials within our state-of-the-art test and evaluation facility in St Neots, Cambridgeshire. As a Senior RF Test Engineer, you will become a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in the operation of software and hardware models, applying doctrinal methods to simulation scenarios. Your role will be crucial in integrating, configuring, and verifying the performance of a wide range of components used within a laboratory environment.</li><li>You will generate test programs using various test equipment, assist in running laboratory trials, and ensure that customers can validate the performance of assets within a synthetic test environment. Working autonomously, you will ensure the success of key projects while being supported by our on-site teams. This position will require close collaboration with our customers, where your knowledge and technical insights will help shape the planning, development, integration, and delivery of essential national and international synthetic trials.</li></ul>
