Graphic/Product Designer

<p><strong>Graphic/Product Designer</strong></p><p>Creative firm in the Flatiron district seeks experienced candidates interested in designing products for the museum gift shop industry and beyond.</p><p>We are a full-service product design and development firm, specializing in the production of retail gift products for the museum world, as well as private label programs for fashion companies, and corporate gifts/premium items for international corporations.</p><p>This position will require the candidate to:</p><ul><li><p>Develop designs and repeat patterns inspired by famous works of art</p></li><li><p>Create tech packs and production files for overseas factories</p></li><li><p>Have experience and knowledge of working with Pantone color guides</p></li><li><p>Help review lab dips and production samples arriving from factories</p></li><li><p>Assist in the preparation of artwork for client presentations</p></li><li><p>Be creative and have a good sense of color</p></li><li><p>Participate in “brainstorming” sessions, have good verbal and written skills in English</p></li><li><p>Communicate daily with the business owner</p></li><li><p>Design using Adobe Illustrator and/or Photoshop (knowledge of 3D CAD and AI is a plus)</p></li></ul><p>Ideal candidate(s) will have a Bachelor’s Degree in art; be very organized and detail oriented; have good interpersonal skills, as well as a strong ability to multi-task while designing for several clients simultaneously.</p><p>Three or more years of related product design work will be considered a plus.</p><p>A cover letter with your resume is required to be considered.
