<p><strong>The Impact You’ll Have</strong></p>
<p>You’ll lead the <strong>Payroll Plus product</strong> with efficiency leveraging AI for our newest product line that simplifies payroll for blue-collar teams across Germany. Payroll Plus by Ordio is a modern, fully integrated payroll automation add-on built for shift-based & deskless workforces. It takes the data from the operational system (shifts, hours, absences) and produces full payroll (gross & net) including complex wage components like overtime, surcharges, etc. The goal is to reduce manual work, errors, and reliance on external payroll bureaus.</p>
<p>You’ll guide Payroll Plus from early MVP toward a robust, scalable product, balancing rapid iteration with reliability and compliance., managing a two-sided platform that serves both our <strong>customers</strong> (employers running payroll) and our <strong>internal payroll experts</strong> (the engine behind flawless execution).</p>

<p><strong>What You’ll Do</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Own the <strong>Payroll Plus roadmap:</strong> Manage priorities, run sprint planning, and track delivery</li>
<li>Partner closely with payroll operations to deeply understand process bottlenecks and translate them into product opportunities</li>
<li>Design and refine the <strong>customer dashboard and internal admin dashboard</strong></li>
<li>Write clear specs for features, balancing technical depth and speed</li>
<li>Collaborate daily with engineering and your peers in product management, avoiding unnecessary ticket bloat</li>
<li>Shape the Payroll Plus experience end-to-end: UX, performance, documentation, and feedback loops</li>
<li>Define success metrics (e.g., payroll run accuracy, processing time, CSAT/NPS) and track impact of improvements</li>
<li>Contribute directly: Using modern AI-assisted development tools, you’ll be able to handle UI improvements, copy optimizations and quick-win improvements on your own (Basic front-end experience therefore is ideal)</li>
<li>Leverage AI tools to enhance your productivity, decision-making, and product outcomes across the product lifecycle.</li>
</ul>
<h2>Requirements</h2>
<ul>
<li>Based in <strong>Germany</strong> with fluent <strong>German (C1+)</strong></li>
<li>3+ years’ experience as a <strong>Product Manager</strong> delivering <strong>end-to-end features</strong> from concept through launch and iteration</li>
<li>Strong <strong>customer-centric mindset</strong> — obsessed with simplifying complex workflows and delivering exceptional user experiences</li>
<li>Proven ability to collaborate cross-functionally with <strong>design, engineering, and operations</strong></li>
<li>Experience running <strong>product discovery</strong> and translating insights into clear product priorities</li>
<li>Excellent communication and documentation skills — you keep everyone aligned without adding noise</li>
<li>Experience in <strong>payroll</strong>, <strong>fintech</strong>, or <strong>operations-heavy SaaS</strong></li>
<li>Curiosity & initiative in adopting AI tools to continuously improve effectiveness</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Nice-to-haves</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Confident working hands-on with tools like Cursor, Claude, Figma, analytics dashboards, and issue trackers</li>
<li>Familiarity with <strong>two-sided platforms</strong> or marketplace-style products</li>
<li>Understanding of German payroll or HR processes</li>
<li>Basic coding or front-end familiarity (React, TypeScript, or similar) is helpful for handling smaller improvements on your own and contribute in prototyping</li>
<li>Detail-oriented and comfortable working in regulated environments where correctness and documentation matter as much as speed</li>
