IT Engineer
<p><b>Salary: £35,000 - 35,000 per year</b></p>
<b>Requirements:</b>
<ul><li>Strong interest in Operational Technology and industrial systems.</li><li>Basic understanding of IT or engineering principles.</li><li>Experienced working hands-on with hardware and factory-floor systems.</li><li>Proactive mindset with a willingness to learn and develop technical skills.</li><li>Strong attention to detail and ability to follow technical procedures.</li><li>Effective communicator able to engage technical and non-technical stakeholders.</li><li>Comfortable working in fast-paced production environments.</li><li>Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel between local sites.</li></ul>
<b>Responsibilities:</b>
<ul><li>Support monitoring and maintenance of OT systems to ensure uptime and performance.</li><li>Assist with routine health checks and escalate issues where required.</li><li>Provide first-line support for OT incidents, working alongside IT, engineering, and production teams.</li><li>Troubleshoot industrial infrastructure including network equipment, industrial PCs, and factory-connected devices.</li><li>Support system patching, updates, and documentation in line with operational requirements.</li><li>Assist with installation, configuration, and replacement of OT hardware and software.</li><li>Contribute to system upgrades, rollouts, and integration projects.</li><li>Maintain accurate records including inventories, patch logs, and network documentation.</li><li>Support cybersecurity best practices, backup processes, and disaster recovery testing.</li><li>Work with third-party vendors during maintenance and installation activities.</li></ul>
