Data Centre Operations Analyst
<b>Requirements:</b>
<ul><li>Eligible for SC clearance</li><li>Full UK driving license</li><li>Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MCSA) or Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert (MCSE) (Desirable)</li><li>Cisco Certified Entry Networking Technician (CCENT) or applicable Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) (Desirable)</li><li>ITIL V3 certification (Desirable)</li><li>Minimum one (1) year experience in a similar role in a Business Continuity or Managed Services environment</li><li>Experience handling and storing customer data</li><li>Firm understanding of data cabling installation, management and patching</li><li>Experience using a ticketing system</li><li>Understanding of IT systems</li><li>Computer hardware maintenance experience (troubleshooting, diagnostics, repair, replacement)</li><li>Excellent communication skills, written and verbal</li><li>Excellent organizational and time management skills</li><li>Ability to work independently</li></ul>
<b>Responsibilities:</b>
<ul><li>Aid in the deployment, operation, and management of the Customers in our data centres</li><li>Manage whitespace, colocation, and managed customer racks</li><li>Conduct data cabling and power management</li><li>Perform hardware installations and circuit installations</li><li>Handle media and fulfill customer tasks on the data centre floor</li><li>Complete facilities checks and report any issues to the Data Centre Manager</li><li>Serve as the site point of contact for the facilities team</li><li>Maintain the sites cleanliness and aesthetics in preparation for customer visits</li><li>Communicate and manage work for customer-specific requirements</li><li>Collaborate supportively with colleagues in a collegiate manner</li></ul>
