Application Architect
<p><b>Salary: £65,000 - 70,000 per year</b></p>
<b>Requirements:</b>
<ul><li>Design and development background in secure or Gateway-based environments</li><li>Experience with core infrastructure technologies</li><li>Proficiency in VMware / vSphere</li><li>Familiarity with RHEL & Windows Server</li><li>Knowledge of Trellix and SIEM</li><li>Understanding of Microsoft Services, Active Directory, and DNS</li><li>Experience with RDS and networking technologies</li><li>Familiarity with Citrix NetScaler and Wireshark</li><li>Knowledge of storage solutions like NetApp SAN and NAS</li><li>Experience with backup solutions</li><li>Understanding of security protocols, Gateway appliances, and PKI management applications</li><li>Strong documentation skills</li><li>Self-motivated and able to work under guidance</li><li>Strong interpersonal skills</li><li>Willingness to travel weekly within the South / Southwest region</li></ul>
<b>Responsibilities:</b>
<ul><li>Contribute to infrastructure and Gateway design changes to maintain availability and performance</li><li>Produce structured design documentation alongside the customer and Programme Manager</li><li>Support architectural governance and ensure alignment to solution intent</li><li>Provide technical oversight during incident troubleshooting with SOC and 3rd Line teams</li><li>Assist in maintaining secure, resilient, and scalable infrastructure components</li></ul>
