Embedded Systems & Software Developer (Junior)
<p><b>Salary: £30,000 - 35,000 per year</b></p>
<b>Requirements:</b>
<ul><li>Proficiency in embedded programming (e.g. C, Assembly)</li><li>Experience with PCB programming tools and microcontroller platforms (e.g. STM8)</li><li>Understanding of electronics development and circuit design</li><li>Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail</li><li>Excellent communication and documentation abilities</li><li>Familiarity with software development practices, web development languages (e.g. JavaScript, Visual, VB6, PHP) (desirable)</li><li>Ability to read and produce technical drawings using tools like AutoCAD, Auto-Sketch, Draft IT (desirable)</li><li>Experience with version control systems (e.g. Git) (desirable)</li><li>Knowledge of communication protocols (e.g. UART, SPI, I2C, CAN) (desirable)</li></ul>
<b>Responsibilities:</b>
<ul><li>Develop software for embedded systems and manage hardware integration</li><li>Assist in the development and maintenance of software applications (e.g. desktop or web-based tools)</li><li>Read, interpret, and create technical development drawings and documentation (e.g. schematics, wiring diagrams, CAD files)</li><li>Collaborate with hardware engineers and software developers to ensure seamless integration of systems</li><li>Liaise with 3rd parties and suppliers to manage modifications and interface requirements</li><li>Maintain version control and documentation for development files, codebases, and drawings</li></ul>
