IT Systems Manager
<p><b>Salary: £48,000 - 50,000 per year</b></p>
<b>Requirements:</b>
<ul><li>Proven experience in an IT Manager or Senior IT role, ideally from a Logistics/Distribution industry.</li><li>Strong understanding of networking, infrastructure, cloud services (e.g., Microsoft 365, Saas), and IT security.</li><li>Experience managing IT projects end-to-end.</li><li>Excellent problem-solving skills and a hands-on approach.</li><li>Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly.</li><li>Strong leadership skills.</li><li>Relevant certifications (e.g., ITIL, Microsoft, CompTIA, Cisco) are advantageous.</li></ul>
<b>Responsibilities:</b>
<ul><li>Oversee the day-to-day running of all IT systems, networks, hardware and software.</li><li>Lead and develop the IT function, ensuring high performance and excellent service delivery.</li><li>Manage the companys IT environment, including PCs, laptops, peripherals, networking equipment, printers, scanners, label printers, mobile devices, telephony, and CCTV.</li><li>Provide 2nd/3rd line support and oversee day-to-day IT support operations, ensuring incidents and requests are resolved efficiently.</li><li>Manage IT budgets, procurement and vendor relationships.</li><li>Ensure robust cybersecurity policies, monitoring and response practices are in place.</li><li>Deliver upgrades, installations and infrastructure improvements.</li><li>Develop and maintain IT policies, procedures, and governance frameworks.</li><li>Provide technical leadership for projects including cloud migration, system integrations, and digital transformation.</li><li>Ensure compliance with relevant legislation and standards (e.g., GDPR, ISO).</li><li>Act as the escalation point for complex technical issues.</li><li>Support staff across the organisation by delivering effective IT guidance and training.</li></ul>
