Network Architect
<p><b>Salary: £16,000 - 18,000 per year</b></p>
<b>Requirements:</b>
<ul><li>Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field</li><li>Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in network design and architecture</li><li>Strong expertise in Juniper technologies, including:</li><li>- Junos OS (Switching & Routing)</li><li>- Juniper SD-WAN Solutions</li><li>- Juniper MIST Wireless & MIST AI Platform</li><li>Proven experience managing multi-vendor environments, including Cisco, HP, Juniper, Fortinet, Meraki, and others</li><li>Hands-on experience with:</li><li>- L3 & modular switches</li><li>- Routers and firewalls</li><li>- WAN optimizers</li><li>- Access Points & Wireless LAN Controllers (including centralized dashboards)</li><li>Deep understanding of multi-protocol routing (EIGRP, BGP4, OSPF)</li><li>Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving capabilities</li><li>Experience conducting network assessments and structured documentation</li><li>Excellent communication and collaboration skills</li><li>Commitment to continuous professional development and Juniper certification pathways</li></ul>
<b>Responsibilities:</b>
<ul><li>Design and develop network architecture strategies and technology roadmaps for Juniper SD-WAN, MIST AI, and Junos LAN solutions aligned with business and IT objectives</li><li>Collaborate closely with customer IT and security teams to ensure solutions meet operational, performance, and compliance requirements</li><li>Lead configuration, deployment, and troubleshooting of Juniper SD-WAN, LAN, and WLAN platforms</li><li>Monitor overall network performance at a high level, proactively identifying improvement opportunities and resolving architectural gaps</li><li>Manage and optimize multi-vendor WAN environments with multi-protocol routing (EIGRP, BGP4, OSPF, etc.)</li><li>Conduct network assessments, provide architectural recommendations, and document findings</li><li>Develop and maintain High-Level Designs (HLDs), Low-Level Designs (LLDs), and comprehensive technical solution documentation</li></ul>
