The Qualitative Research Manager is responsible for the day-to-day management of multiple studies, both domestic and international, with a focus on online quantitative research. The Qualitative Research Manager will actively and directly manage all aspects of each project, to ensure successful project completion, on time and within budget, while meeting and exceeding client expectations. The Qualitative Research Manager will report to the Senior Research Director. The position is based in our Hilden office but is available on a remote basis.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Including, but not limited to the following:Conducting qualitative market research studies in the fields of pharmaceuticals, OTC, medical technology & diagnostics is preferred but not essential Ideally, experience with quantitative market research studiesProject management, client briefing, discussion guide/ questionnaire creation, execution of individual interviews and group discussionsConception, preparation and presentation of results reportsCooperation with an interdisciplinary teamCompetencies:Strong communication and teamwork skillsEnjoy explorative, analytical workExperienced with market research methodologiesExperienced in conducting interviewsSolution-oriented, structured workFriendly and confident mannerQualificationsEducation and Training Required: Successfully completed degree in psychology, sociology, health economics, or a comparable field of studyMinimum Experience: Extensive professional experience (at least 3 years) in market research, ideally in the medical fieldKnowledge, Skill, Ability: Candidate will preferably have experience with a range of market research projectsThe candidate must be a self-motivated individual with exceptional time management, organizational skills and attention to detailThe candidate must multi-task and can work well under pressureThe candidate must have exceptional written and verbal communication skillsThe candidate has fluent English skills, both written and spokenThe candidate must have strong Microsoft Office skills including PowerPoint, Word and OutlookThis candidate is expected to demonstrate enthusiasm and pride in constantly improving the quality of our servicesThe candidate must have well-developed analytical and problem-solving skillsThe candidate must have the ability to work autonomously and in a team environment to successfully meet departmental objectivesNative German language is a mustCompany Disclaimer: This job description does not represent an all-exhaustive list of all functions and the employee may be required to perform additional duties as assigned by the manager and the company.
