Responsibilities
Prepare accurate monthly management accounts (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow).
Produce weekly performance reports and variance analysis.
Monitor departmental expenses and enforce budget discipline.
Identify and eliminate financial leakages and inefficiencies.
Strengthen internal controls and approval systems.
Ensure compliance with Malawi tax regulations and statutory requirements.
Lead annual budgeting and forecasting processes.
Monitor cash flow and manage receivables/payables effectively.
Support operational managers with financial insights and training.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
ACCA, CIMA, or CA qualification (or finalist) preferred.
5-8 years of progressive accounting experience.
Experience in hospitality, retail, or service industries desirable.
Strong knowledge of Malawi tax and regulatory environment.
