SQL Database Administrator
<p><b>Salary: £60,000 - 60,000 per year</b></p>
<b>Requirements:</b>
<ul><li>I am looking for an experienced SQL Database Administrator (DBA) who meets the following requirements:</li><li>Extensive experience as a SQL DBA within a complex enterprise environment.</li><li>Strong knowledge of core DBA activities such as performance tuning, backup/restore strategies, patch management, and data integrity assurance.</li><li>Experience working with cloud platforms, particularly Azure and/or AWS (equivalent to Azure Administrator level experience; certification not required).</li><li>Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools, such as Terraform.</li><li>Experience with SolarWinds, DevOps practices, and Redgate SQL toolsets.</li><li>Proven ability to troubleshoot complex issues and implement robust, scalable solutions.</li><li>Ability to work independently and provide strategic input to senior stakeholders.</li></ul>

<ul><li>As part of my team, you will be tasked with:</li><li>Administering, monitoring, and maintaining SQL Server databases across multiple environments.</li><li>Performing performance tuning, query optimization, and database health checks.</li><li>Managing database backup, recovery, and disaster recovery planning.</li><li>Applying patches and updates to maintain security, performance, and stability.</li><li>Ensuring data integrity, consistency, and security across platforms.</li><li>Collaborating with development and infrastructure teams to support data-related needs.</li><li>Guiding and advising management on database strategies and improvements.</li><li>Acting as the subject matter expert (SME) for all SQL DBA-related matters.</li></ul>
