<p>Required Skills:</p>
<p>*Very proficient with Linux at the terminal level</p>
<p>*Test-driven development (TDD) and pytest proficiency</p>
<p>*7+ years Python experience</p>
<p>*Polars experience</p>
<p>*PostgreSQL expertise: schema design, optimization, advanced queries</p>
<p>*Familiarity with, and adherence to, PEP guidelines and Python coding standards</p>
<p>*RESTful API development and design best practices</p>
<p>*Scalable architecture design for high-volume data environments</p>
<p>*Security practices and vulnerability prevention</p>
<p>*Bug identification and resolution with local testing</p>
<p>*Thoughtful development centered around performance, deeply optimized code, and proper code organization</p>
<p>*Git version control with branching strategies</p>
<p>*English fluency (written/verbal)</p>
<p>*Previous experience working for a US-based company.</p>
