<h2>About BloomFi</h2><p>BloomFi is building a high-performance decentralized trading platform with:</p><ul><li>Spot & perpetual trading</li><li>A custom Layer 2 blockchain</li><li>Low-latency execution and deep liquidity design</li></ul><p>We aim to compete with leading on-chain trading platforms like Hyperliquid by delivering CEX-level performance on-chain.</p><h2>Role Overview</h2><p>We are hiring a CTO with deep technical expertise in Web3 and trading systems to lead architecture, scaling, and execution.</p><p>You will work with an existing development team and take full ownership of:</p><ul><li>System architecture</li><li>Performance optimization</li><li>Blockchain and exchange infrastructure</li></ul><h2>Key Responsibilities</h2><ul><li>Lead the technical vision and architecture of BloomFi</li><li>Oversee development of:</li><li>Orderbook / matching engine</li><li>Perpetual futures system</li><li>Layer 2 blockchain infrastructure</li><li>Ensure low latency, high throughput, and reliability</li><li>Manage and scale the engineering team</li><li>Implement best practices in:</li><li>Smart contracts</li><li>Security & audits</li><li>DevOps and infrastructure</li><li>Work closely with CEO and product team on roadmap execution</li></ul><h2>Requirements</h2><ul><li>7–12+ years experience in software engineering</li><li>Strong background in:<ul><li>Blockchain development (L1/L2 or rollups)</li><li>DeFi protocols</li><li>High-performance systems</li></ul></li><li>Experience building or contributing to:<ul><li>DEXs, exchanges, or trading systems</li></ul></li><li>Deep understanding of:<ul><li>Solidity / Rust / Go / TypeScript</li><li>Smart contract architecture</li><li>On-chain + off-chain hybrid systems</li></ul></li><li>Experience leading engineering teams</li></ul><h2>Nice to Have</h2><ul><li>Experience with:</li><li>Order book-based DEXs (not just AMMs)</li><li>Zero-knowledge rollups / optimistic rollups</li><li>Background in:</li><li>Low-latency trading systems (CEX or TradFi)</li><li>Experience handling millions of transactions / high TPS systems</li><li>Prior startup or founder experience</li></ul><h2>Compensation</h2><ul><li>Competitive salary + equity / token allocation</li><li>Long-term upside tied to protocol growth</li><li>Opportunity to build core infrastructure in DeFi</li></ul><h2>Location</h2><ul><li>Remote (global)</li></ul>
