Data Platform Engineer
<p><b>Salary: £108,000 - 144,000 per year</b></p>
<b>Requirements:</b>
<ul><li>Proven experience as a Platform Engineer within large, complex organizations.</li><li>Focus on Azure-based Data Platforms.</li><li>Strong hands-on experience with Azure Data Factory (ADF), Azure AI, Data Lake, Cognitive Services, and OpenAI.</li><li>Proven ability to deploy Azure services and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).</li><li>Deep knowledge of Terraform, automation, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).</li><li>Strong working knowledge of Snowflake engineering and operations.</li><li>Solid understanding of security, networking, identity management, and access control (automated via Terraform).</li><li>Good awareness of the DevOps approach.</li><li>Excellent communication skills and stakeholder engagement.</li></ul>

<ul><li>Design and engineer a robust, scalable Data Platform with a strong focus on Azure and AI services.</li><li>Collaborate with various stakeholders to ensure alignment of the Data Platform with business needs.</li><li>Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices, utilizing Terraform for automation.</li><li>Ensure security and compliance measures are integrated within the Data Platform.</li><li>Troubleshoot and optimize existing data solutions, maintaining high standards of performance and reliability.</li></ul>

This is a hands-on role that requires deep technical expertise, resilience, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, complex environment. While immediate availability is a nice-to-have, a background in infrastructure with a solid understanding of networking concepts, firewalls, and security will be beneficial.
