IT Support Engineer
<p><b>Salary: £26,000 - 26,000 per year</b></p>
<b>Requirements:</b>
<ul><li>We are looking for candidates with some experience in IT support who are eager to take the next step in their career. You should have great customer service skills and a good deal of patience, as you will be dealing with customers face to face, over the phone, and through our ticketing system. Due to the nature of our client, you will need to obtain enhanced DBS clearance.</li></ul>
<b>Responsibilities:</b>
<ul><li>As our IT Support Engineer, your primary responsibility will be to serve as the point of contact on-site, handling all IT issues at a first-line level. Your tasks will include setting up laptops, troubleshooting Wi-Fi issues, maintaining printers, and ensuring the overall functionality of the client site from an IT standpoint. You will also be involved in regular maintenance and upgrading of equipment. Additional responsibilities include:</li><li>Supporting end users and providing basic training in the use of IT solutions</li><li>Conducting regular checks to ensure all systems are online and backups are successful</li><li>Providing first-line PC hardware and software support</li><li>Escalating tickets when necessary</li><li>Conducting basic network diagnostics</li><li>Creating and updating IT documentation</li><li>You will have a team of helpdesk engineers available to assist with any escalations you cannot manage alone.</li></ul>
