WiFi Network Designer
<b>Requirements:</b>
<ul><li>We are looking for candidates who possess the following qualifications and skills:</li><li>Experience in core network designs using Cisco IOS-XR and IOS-XE software at a CCNA level standard</li><li>Familiarity with security technologies such as Firewalls and IPSec</li><li>Knowledge of the physical installation of network equipment into data centers</li><li>Previous experience with F5 BigIP products and load balancing technology is advantageous</li><li>Proficiency with Wifi Access Points, particularly Meraki or Cisco Wireless LAN Controllers</li><li>Understanding of supporting technologies such as DHCP, DNS, and Web Servers</li></ul>
<b>Responsibilities:</b>
<ul><li>In this role, you will have the opportunity to design and build the UK's largest Public Wifi network. Your responsibilities will include:</li><li>Maintaining our existing core network while designing new solutions to meet customer requirements</li><li>Migrating network designs to cloud-based technologies</li><li>Supporting and testing customer Wifi networks in challenging environments</li><li>Collaborating with our product line to translate customer requirements into real-world solutions</li><li>Analyzing potential security issues and implementing necessary upgrades or fixes</li><li>Utilizing DevOps practices to ensure service availability and monitoring, and addressing any operational issues</li><li>Planning and executing changes to the Public Wifi platform, which may occasionally require overnight working with test teams</li></ul>

<p>This is a 9-month hybrid role based in Ipswich or London, requiring 3 days on-site. We are offering a day rate of £500 - £540, inside IR35. We seek a self-starter who is eager to work closely with the product team and drive developments to operational readiness. Our team operates in a DevOps model, engaging with various technologies including Wifi access points, routing, switching, load balancing, and firewalls, ensuring comprehensive support from initial concept to deployment.</p>
