AI Product Engineer - Internal Tools & GPT Systems
About the Role We’re looking for a technically sharp AI Product Engineer to help us build and scale the internal systems that power a new kind of decision intelligence company. You’ll work closely with the founder and our technical architect to turn structured logic into operational tools — using ChatGPT (OpenAI) and advanced workflows to build agent-based systems, internal dashboards, and strategic infrastructure. Your Responsibilities Build and maintain internal tools for workflow management, decision logic, and automation. Develop and test GPT-based workflows using OpenAI’s API and related tooling. Translate structured frameworks into code-based systems — working from strategic diagrams, logic trees, and behavioural patterns. Collaborate with product, strategy, and technical teams to deploy clean, scalable solutions. Ensure outputs are consistent, version-controlled, and compounding over time. You Should Have Strong proficiency in Python and/or JavaScript/TypeScript. Experience with OpenAI APIs, LangChain, or similar LLM orchestration tools. Strong understanding of prompt structure, system design, and GPT behaviour tuning. Ability to build simple internal UIs or backend logic (no full-stack required). Excellent communication and ability to think like a systems architect, not just a coder. Bonus If You Have Experience building internal AI tools or agent-based workflows. Familiarity with vector stores, embeddings, and chaining frameworks. A mindset obsessed with structure, reuse, and long-term IP value. A portfolio or code samples that demonstrate clarity and architectural thinking.
