Lead Product Engineer

The Collective Intelligence Project (<a href="http:&#x2F;&#x2F;www.cip.org" rel="nofollow">http:&#x2F;&#x2F;www.cip.org</a>) builds platforms that allow large groups of people to participate in decisions about AI systems. In short, we’re building the democratic infrastructure for AI.<br>We partner with AI labs and governments to evaluate frontier models on questions automated benchmarks can’t capture — e.g. whether models respond safely to mental health crises, provide reliable legal advice across languages, or exhibit political bias.<br>We’re looking for a Lead Product Engineer to build infrastructure behind this work.<br>You’ll work on:
- evaluation platforms used by AI labs and policymakers
- systems for collecting and aggregating large-scale human judgment data
- interfaces that help policymakers interpret evaluation results
- infrastructure for large-scale public deliberation about AI<br>Stack currently includes: TypeScript, React&#x2F;Next.js, Postgres, Supabase, Vercel. You’ll have significant ownership over architecture and product direction.
