Data Engineer
<p><b>Salary: £65,000 - 65,000 per year</b></p>
<b>Requirements:</b>
<ul><li>We seek candidates with strong SQL development and optimization skills. You should have experience with SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) and SQL replication. Familiarity with Visual Studio for database development is essential. Proficiency in Power BI for creating reports and dashboards is required, as well as experience using Azure Data Factory for cloud-based data integration. A solid understanding of data warehousing concepts and best practices is necessary. Additionally, we value strong analytical and problem-solving skills, along with the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.</li></ul>
<b>Responsibilities:</b>
<ul><li>In this role, you will design, build, and maintain ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes to facilitate efficient data ingestion and transformation. You will support and optimize SQL databases, ensuring their performance, reliability, and data integrity. Another important aspect of your role will be managing and maintaining SQL replication to ensure data consistency across systems. You will also develop and maintain SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) packages to support data workflows. Your work will involve pulling and structuring data warehousing solutions to achieve efficient storage and retrieval. Additionally, you will develop dashboards and visualizations using Power BI to support data-driven decision-making and leverage Azure Data Factory to build and orchestrate cloud-based data pipelines. Collaboration with data analysts, software engineers, and business stakeholders to understand data needs and develop effective solutions will be key.</li></ul>
