PostgreSQL DBA

<p><b>Salary: £54,000 - 60,000 per year</b></p>
<b>Requirements:</b>
<ul><li>Proven experience as a Database Administrator (PostgreSQL DBA)</li><li>Must hold Active Security Clearance (SC)</li><li>Core development, maintenance, and performance optimization skills (sharding, partitions)</li><li>Experience with clustering and extensions such as Pgvector, PostGIS, and AGE</li><li>Data migration experience from existing databases to PostgreSQL databases</li><li>Ability to recreate existing data models and develop new data models in accordance with user requirements</li></ul>
<b>Responsibilities:</b>
<ul><li>Manage database performance and optimization</li><li>Implement and maintain data structures, including sharding and partitioning</li><li>Utilize extensions and clustering techniques to enhance database capabilities</li><li>Conduct data migration and ensure seamless integration with PostgreSQL databases</li><li>Collaborate with stakeholders to understand user requirements and develop corresponding data models</li></ul>

<p>We are offering up to £500 per day (Outside IR35) for this position, with a hybrid working arrangement requiring 1-2 days per week on-site in London.
