<b>Requirements:</b>
<ul><li>I am looking for candidates with a strong background in software engineering, understanding its realization and system-wide impact.</li><li>You should have experience working in C++ and be familiar with other languages such as Ada and QT.</li><li>Collaboration is key; I need someone with an open approach to development who can work well within a team and maintain momentum during the development process.</li><li>Experience across the entire software development lifecycle is essential, from engaging with requirement authorities to automated target integration and proving, along with effective documentation.</li><li>Familiarity with new tools, techniques, and approaches that may enhance our processes for improved efficiency and sustainability is highly valued.</li><li>Knowledge of DDS middleware and Real-Time Operating Systems is required.</li><li>I prefer candidates who are knowledgeable in relevant standards such as DefStan 00-55, DO-178C, or IEC61508 and restricted coding standards like MISRA C.</li></ul>

<p>I am offering a contract position for a C++ Software Engineer, based in Bristol, with an initial duration of 12 months and a high likelihood of extension. The role requires you to be onsite four days per week, preferably Monday to Thursday, and offers a competitive rate of £65.00 per hour, with overtime paid at 'time and a quarter' for hours worked over the standard 37 hours per week. This role is inside IR35, requiring engagement through an umbrella company. The interview process will consist of a single stage video interview.</p>
