IT Support Engineer
<b>Requirements:</b>
<ul><li>I require a minimum of two years' experience in a similar IT support role.</li><li>A solid understanding of standard computing systems and networking principles is essential.</li><li>You should have experience with Active Directory, Office 365, and basic networking TCP/IP knowledge.</li><li>I expect a good understanding of cloud technologies such as Azure.</li><li>Exposure to Windows 11 and Server in a corporate environment is necessary.</li><li>You must have the ability to troubleshoot common issues with various devices and software.</li><li>Proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook is required.</li><li>Effective verbal and written communication abilities are important for interacting clearly and constructively with team members and business users.</li><li>I need you to be proficient in managing multiple tasks and projects simultaneously while prioritizing and adapting to planned and reactive work effectively.</li><li>Any knowledge of Power BI or PowerShell is desirable but not essential.</li><li>Experience using service desk tools and remote support software is preferred.</li><li>Familiarity with ITIL processes and SLAs is beneficial.</li></ul>
<b>Responsibilities:</b>
<ul><li>In this role, you will support our hospitality and events business based in Luton by addressing all IT requirements.</li><li>You will take responsibility for securing the IT network and providing core support to all staff members.</li><li>As an IT Support Engineer, you will work alongside the IT Manager to provide technical assistance, troubleshooting day-to-day issues and helping to ensure the smooth functioning of our IT systems and infrastructure.</li><li>This position requires a good understanding of various hardware and software technologies and excellent problem-solving skills, requiring you to work collaboratively with colleagues and external vendors.</li></ul>
