SQL Developer
<p><b>Salary: £45,000 - 55,000 per year</b></p>
<b>Requirements:</b>
<ul><li>Solid experience in SQL Server database development, with strong T-SQL skills and query performance optimization.</li><li>Demonstrated expertise in data modeling and data mapping, including conceptual, logical, and physical design.</li><li>Strong understanding of ETL design and data warehousing principles.</li><li>Proficiency in working with data in multiple formats (JSON, XML, CSV, etc.).</li><li>Experience with BI or reporting tools such as Power BI or Tableau.</li><li>Knowledge of data governance, security standards, and compliance requirements.</li><li>Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities with keen attention to detail.</li><li>Strong communication skills to liaise effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.</li><li>Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.</li><li>3-5 years of relevant industry experience in a data engineering or database development role.</li><li>Relevant certifications in SQL, data engineering, or cloud platforms (advantageous).</li></ul>

<ul><li>Design, develop, and maintain SQL databases and data pipelines, ensuring reliability, integrity, and optimization.</li><li>Create and enhance complex T-SQL queries to support reporting, analytics, and system integrations.</li><li>Develop and maintain data models, mapping processes, and documentation to support enterprise data architecture.</li><li>Collaborate with analysts, data architects, and technical teams to understand business requirements and deliver fit-for-purpose data solutions.</li><li>Support the evaluation, design, and implementation of data platforms and tools.</li><li>Structure and prepare data for analytics, data mining, machine learning, and application use.</li><li>Manage and monitor ETL processes, data migrations, and conversions.</li><li>Ensure compliance with data governance, security, and privacy standards.</li><li>Contribute to continuous improvement, automation, and best practice adoption across DataOps functions.</li></ul>
