<b>Requirements:</b>
<ul><li>We are looking for candidates with the following qualifications and experience:</li><li>A minimum of 5 years of experience in network and infrastructure engineering roles.</li><li>Proven track record of managing and delivering technical projects from start to finish.</li><li>Strong knowledge of IP networking, routing, switching, VLANs, VPNs, and firewall configuration (such as Cisco, Fortinet, Palo Alto, etc.).</li><li>Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (Microsoft Azure, AWS, or equivalent).</li><li>Familiarity with Active Directory, Azure AD, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, and M365 environments.</li><li>A solid understanding of cybersecurity principles, access control, and encryption standards.</li><li>Excellent communication skills, particularly in stakeholder engagement and documentation.</li></ul>
<b>Responsibilities:</b>
<ul><li>In this role, I am responsible for:</li><li>Designing, deploying, and maintaining network infrastructure, including LAN/WAN, wireless, VPN, and firewalls.</li><li>Configuring and managing network segmentation, VLANs, and routing to facilitate secure and efficient data flow.</li><li>Overseeing server, storage, and virtualization environments (whether on-premise or cloud-based).</li><li>Implementing and maintaining cloud connectivity and hybrid networking (Azure/AWS VPNs, ExpressRoute, etc.).</li><li>Ensuring network and infrastructure security complies with organizational policies and standards (like ISO27001, GDPR, etc.).</li><li>Configuring and monitoring firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and endpoint security solutions.</li><li>Supporting identity and access management, multi-factor authentication (MFA), and secure network access policies.</li><li>Conducting regular vulnerability assessments, patch management, and system hardening.</li><li>Leading infrastructure and network projects from scoping through delivery, ensuring quality, cost, and time objectives are achieved.</li><li>Defining technical requirements and translating business needs into deliverable solutions.</li><li>Developing and maintaining project documentation, including architecture diagrams, risk registers, and deployment guides.</li><li>Managing vendors, suppliers, and third-party contractors to ensure aligned delivery outcomes.</li><li>Applying structured project management methodologies (such as Agile, Prince2, or hybrid).</li><li>Acting as a trusted advisor to internal teams and business units, gathering and translating technical requirements into actionable solutions.</li><li>Collaborating closely with IT, Operations, Security, and external partners to ensure seamless integration and delivery.</li><li>Communicating complex technical concepts in clear, non-technical language for diverse audiences.</li><li>Providing updates and reports on project progress, risks, and mitigations to leadership and stakeholders.</li></ul>
