Information Security Technical Assurance Lead
<p><b>Salary: £15,000 - 15,000 per year</b></p>
<b>Requirements:</b>
<ul><li>We are looking for candidates who have at least 5 years of experience in information security assurance roles. A proven history with information security management frameworks and regulatory compliance, such as ISO 27000 and NIST, is necessary. You must possess a strong understanding of security controls across data, networks, applications, devices, and users. Familiarity with regulations in the Nuclear industry across operational geographies (US, UK, Netherlands, Germany) is desirable. A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field, or equivalent industry experience, is required. Relevant certifications such as Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Information Security Manager (CISM), Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH), CompTIA Security+, and Systems Security Certified Practitioner (SSCP) will be advantageous.</li></ul>
<b>Responsibilities:</b>
<ul><li>In this role, I will expect you to develop, implement, and maintain information security assurance programs. You will ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and standards, conduct risk assessments, and manage vulnerabilities. Maintaining robust security controls across our enterprise assets, software, networks, and applications will be a key priority. You will support incident response and recovery processes, which include penetration testing and audit log management. Additionally, delivering training and awareness programs to enhance our organization's security posture will be vital. Collaboration with internal and external stakeholders to maintain compliance and manage third-party risks is essential. You will also provide expert advice on secure configurations, malware defenses, and network monitoring strategies.</li></ul>

<p>This position is an initial contract for 6 months, offering a competitive rate of £700 per day, and is classified as inside IR35. The work environment is hybrid, based from a site in Paddington. We seek a highly skilled Information Security Cyber Assurance Specialist who can guarantee the security and resilience of our information systems, aligning with industry standards and regulatory requirements. This critical role supports the delivery of our business objectives while managing risk effectively.</p>
