Founding Engineer

Korva is building the AI-native operating system for health plan administration. Self-funded health plans cover 100M+ Americans, yet third-party administrators (TPAs) run them on manual processes and legacy software. We&#x27;re rebuilding that back office with AI agents that automate high-stakes operational workflows. Getting this right matters — millions of Americans&#x27; coverage depends on it.<br>Founded by UC Berkeley alums with deep experience in healthcare data, payer integrations, and provider workflows. Pre-seed, well-funded, NYC-based.<br>This is a broad founding engineer role: you&#x27;ll design core platform infrastructure from scratch, build and ship AI agents for TPA operations, own systems end-to-end, and at times embed directly with customers to turn operational knowledge into product. You&#x27;ll work closely with the founders and shape both the roadmap and the engineering culture.<br>We&#x27;re looking for someone with 2–5 years of SWE experience who writes clean, reliable code, has strong product instincts, uses AI as a core part of their workflow, and is comfortable in the ambiguity of an early-stage company. Interest in healthcare or complex regulated industries is a plus—domain expertise not required on day one.
