<p>This position is part of the <strong>Revenue Operations</strong> team, which sits at the heart of SumUp's commercial engine — turning data, insights, and strategy into measurable business impact. From forecasting revenue to shaping go-to-market investments, this team ensures that every commercial decision is grounded in clarity and performance.</p>
<p>As the new <strong>Head of Revenue Planning</strong>, you'll bridge Finance, Product, Marketing, and Sales, building a unified view of our global revenue streams. You'll play a critical role in helping SumUp reach its ambitious growth targets by ensuring revenue plans are predictable, sustainable, and aligned across all lines of business. You'll lead a talented team of <strong>four Revenue</strong><strong data-start="1259" data-end="1307"> Planning Managers/Associates</strong>, each focused on different acquisition channels — sales, marketing, and retail planning.</p>
<p>Your work will directly influence <strong>how we allocate capital, set commercial targets, and optimise pricing and incentive structures</strong> — driving smarter, faster decisions across the organisation. You'll be the analytical backbone of our commercial leadership, ensuring our teams act with confidence and precision.</p>

<h2><strong>What You'll Do</strong></h2>
<ul>
<li data-start="151" data-end="325"><strong data-start="151" data-end="215">Own SumUp's global revenue planning and forecasting strategy</strong>, translating commercial ambition into clear, data-driven financial outcomes across markets and product lines.</li>
<li data-start="329" data-end="486"><strong data-start="329" data-end="384">Lead annual, quarterly, and rolling planning cycles</strong>, aligning targets, budgets, headcount, and go-to-market investments with long-term growth objectives.</li>
<li data-start="490" data-end="665"><strong data-start="490" data-end="523">Build a unified revenue model</strong> across Sales, Marketing, Product, and Finance — connecting acquisition, retention, pricing, and monetisation into one coherent growth engine.</li>
<li data-start="669" data-end="836"><strong data-start="669" data-end="730">Drive scenario-based forecasting and performance insights</strong>, identifying leading indicators, surfacing risks early, and enabling fast, confident executive decisions.</li>
<li data-start="840" data-end="981"><strong data-start="840" data-end="890">Influence capital allocation and ROI decisions</strong>, ensuring investments across regions and channels maximise sustainable, profitable growth.</li>
<li data-start="985" data-end="1120"><strong data-start="985" data-end="1031">Optimise commercial performance frameworks</strong>, including sales capacity planning, quota setting, and incentive and pricing structures.</li>
<li data-start="1124" data-end="1279"><strong data-start="1124" data-end="1184">Lead and develop a high-performing Revenue Planning team</strong>, elevating analytical rigour and building a scalable planning function that grows with SumUp.</li>

<li>You have <strong>deep expertise in revenue forecasting and financial modelling</strong>, ideally in a Fintech, SaaS, or Payments environment.</li>
<li>You're a <strong>strategic yet hands-on leader</strong>, comfortable influencing C-level stakeholders while diving into analytical detail.</li>
<li>You have advanced <strong>data modelling</strong> skills and can turn complex data into compelling business narratives.</li>
<li>You excel at <strong>cross-functional collaboration</strong>, building strong partnerships with Finance, Product, Sales, and Marketing.</li>
<li>You lead with empathy, clear communication, and an ability to drive alignment in fast-moving, global settings.</li>
