In 2023, we became the lead consultant and On-Site Operations Manager for Deutsche Energy Terminal GmbH (DET)—Germany’s state-owned terminal operator, created to respond to the national energy supply challenges triggered by the Ukraine crisis.<br>

<h2>Aufgaben</h2>
<p>HR Leadership & Strategy</p>
<ul>
<li>Lead and continuously improve HR operations across the full employee lifecycle (recruitment support, onboarding, employment, development, offboarding)</li>
<li>Act as the primary HR business partner for senior management, providing guidance on organizational, workforce, and people-related decisions</li>
<li>Translate business strategy into effective HR policies, structures, and processes</li>
<li>Drive professionalization and standardization of HR processes across the organization</li>
</ul>
<p>HR Operations & Compliance</p>
<ul>
<li>Own and oversee all HR administrative processes, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and legal compliance</li>
<li>Ensure full compliance with labor laws, GDPR, internal policies, and audit requirements</li>
<li>Manage complex employee cases (contract changes, disciplinary matters, exits, legal questions) in coordination with legal advisors when required</li>
<li>Maintain responsibility for HR documentation, contracts, and employee records</li>
</ul>
<p>Payroll, Benefits & Workforce Administration</p>
<ul>
<li>Oversee benefits administration, payroll, time & leave management, and employee data integrity</li>
</ul>
<p>HR Policies, Governance & Processes</p>
<ul>
<li>Develop, implement, and continuously improve HR policies, procedures, and company standards</li>
<li>Ensure policies are clearly communicated, understood, and consistently applied</li>
<li>Act as policy owner and escalation point for HR-related governance topics</li>
</ul>
<p>Reporting, Data & Management Support</p>
<ul>
<li>Own HR reporting for senior management (headcount, workforce structure, KPIs, compliance metrics)</li>
<li>Analyze HR data to identify trends, risks, and improvement opportunities</li>
<li>Support management decision-making with structured HR insights and recommendations</li>
</ul>
<p>Employee Relations & Culture</p>
<ul>
<li>Serve as the main point of escalation for employee relations topics</li>
<li>Promote a positive, professional, and compliant work environment</li>
<li>Lead or sponsor employee engagement initiatives, company events, and recognition programs</li>
<li>Support leadership in performance management, feedback culture, and employee development</li>
</ul>
<p>Systems & Continuous Improvement</p>
<ul>
<li>Own HR systems and tools (Personio as selected tool for implementation), ensuring effective use and continuous improvement</li>
<li>Drive automation, process optimization, and digitalization of HR workflows</li>
<li>Act as internal HR subject matter expert for systems, processes, and best practices</li>
</ul>
<h2>Qualifikation</h2>
<ul>
<li>Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Law, or a related field</li>
<li>Several years of professional experience in HR, including HR Generalist, HR Manager, or comparable role</li>
<li>Strong, hands-on knowledge of labor law, HR compliance, and HR operations</li>
<li>Proven experience advising management on HR and workforce topics</li>
<li>Experience coordinating payroll, benefits, and external service providers</li>
<li>High level of organizational maturity, discretion, and professional judgment</li>
<li>Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills across all hierarchy levels</li>
<li>Strong analytical skills and experience with HR reporting and data-driven decision-making</li>
<li>Confident, independent working style with ownership mindset</li>
<li>Fluent German & English</li>
