Cloud Security Engineer
<p><b>Salary: £50,000 - 50,000 per year</b></p>
<b>Requirements:</b>
<ul><li>Extensive understanding of Azure, Sentinel, MS Defender, Autopilot, and Intune</li><li>Success in leveraging traditional best practices such as ITIL</li><li>Experience in identity and access management and end-user device management</li><li>Proven experience of delivering against cyber security roadmaps</li><li>Experience in building threat intelligence and horizon scanning tools</li><li>Strong communication skills</li><li>This position requires a basic DBS clearance</li></ul>
<b>Responsibilities:</b>
<ul><li>In this role, I will support the Head of Cyber Security in overseeing and strengthening our Cyber Security estate. I will ensure that all incidents and service requests are accurately prioritized and managed while aiding in the implementation and delivery of the Cyber Security Sub Strategy. I will understand, adhere to, and implement changes that ensure compliance with ISO27001, Cyber Assessment Framework, and Cyber Essentials. I will identify and deliver opportunities for continual improvement within the security operations function, advocating for secure IT architecture, and ensuring adherence to security best practices across all technology implementations, including operational processes, software development, and infrastructure management. Additionally, I will work closely with our external Security Operations Center (SOC), ensuring that contract terms are regularly reviewed, assessed, and optimized.</li></ul>
