Visualfiles Developer
<p><b>Salary: £45,000 - 45,000 per year</b></p>
<b>Requirements:</b>
<ul><li>A development background with at least 3 years of experience in designing, developing, and delivering bespoke business applications.</li><li>Prior experience in VisualFiles development and knowledge of legal workflows.</li><li>Experience working in an Agile software development environment.</li><li>Commercial awareness and inquisitiveness to understand the challenges faced by the firm and its clients, allowing for the development of appropriate solutions.</li><li>Ability to quickly identify projects that may be at risk and communicate early to manage expectations accordingly.</li><li>An innovative mindset, with the willingness to experiment and explore new ways of delivering technology solutions.</li><li>A commitment to developing applications with security in mind, ensuring data protection at all times.</li><li>Familiarity with C#, VB, SQL Server, SSRS, and SSIS is desirable.</li><li>A willingness to learn new methods and techniques.</li></ul>
<b>Responsibilities:</b>
<ul><li>Technical development, responsible for developing business solutions that interface with the firm's line of business applications, as well as customizing and configuring off-the-shelf software.</li><li>Development of the case management system to ensure continual optimization of business efficiency and procedures.</li><li>Support the integration of VisualFiles with other firm-wide packages, including the practice management system.</li><li>Propose, design, and implement new and innovative systems, and analyze existing systems to identify opportunities for streamlining and performance enhancement.</li><li>Assist with business process analysis to enhance and develop workflow processes.</li><li>Work closely with the Projects team to map out projects.</li><li>Workflow and integration development, building process improvement workflows across the line of business application stack using the available platforms, and assisting others in integrating workflows into line of business applications.</li><li>Database development, designing data structures and access methods to support any custom development.</li></ul>
