Software Engineer
<p><b>Salary: £55,000 - 55,000 per year</b></p>
<b>Requirements:</b>
<ul><li>Experience developing on cloud-based environments such as AWS or Azure.</li><li>Familiarity with Test-Driven Development (TDD) and Behaviour Driven Development (BDD) practices and techniques.</li><li>Proficiency in SQL and NoSQL database applications such as Postgres, MySQL, and MongoDB.</li><li>Experience working within a software engineering team, effectively communicating with stakeholders, and ensuring adherence to standards and agreed ways of working.</li><li>Proficiency in programming languages such as JavaScript/Node.js and TypeScript, as well as familiarity with relevant frameworks and design principles.</li></ul>
<b>Responsibilities:</b>
<ul><li>As a Software Engineer in The Garage, I will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining innovative cloud-based solutions and automations within a collaborative and agile environment. I will write secure, high-quality, test-driven code using the best tools and techniques available. I will manage and deploy code using GitLab, work within AWS cloud environments, and develop on high-performance MacBook Pro devices. My growth will be supported through ample learning and development opportunities, including expert-led conferences and subscriptions to Cloud Academy.</li></ul>
