Solution Architect
<p><b>Salary: £48,000 - 77,000 per year</b></p>
<b>Requirements:</b>
<ul><li>We are looking for an experienced Solution Architect with proven expertise in infrastructure and cloud environments. You must have deep knowledge of Microsoft Azure, on-prem technologies such as VMware, Exchange, and SAN, as well as Microsoft 365. Hands-on experience with infrastructure as code and DevOps tooling is essential. You should possess strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills and be able to manage complex workloads while leading diverse teams. Additional Microsoft certifications (Azure Architect, M365 Admin, DevOps Engineer) and architecture certifications (TOGAF, BCS) are desirable.</li></ul>
<b>Responsibilities:</b>
<ul><li>In this role, I expect you to design secure, scalable infrastructure solutions across hybrid cloud environments (Azure and on-prem). You will define IT strategies and architectural roadmaps aligned with emerging technologies, lead the delivery of enterprise-scale projects, and present solutions to the Technical Design Authority. Collaboration with stakeholders across IT and business teams to deliver high-quality services is key. Additionally, you will drive automation and integration using tools like PowerShell, Python, BICEP, GitHub, and Octopus Deploy. Providing inclusive leadership and mentoring to technical teams will also be part of your responsibilities.</li></ul>
