DAY-TO-DAY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Lead the data conversion team through scoping, extraction, mapping, and loading of master and transactional data sets.
• Design and implement components to migrate data from legacy platforms (PeopleSoft, BAAN, Infor LN) to SAP ERP.
• Write programs and scripts to automate data extraction, cleansing, transformation, and load (ETL) processes.
• Identify and resolve data duplication issues and maintain data quality through rigorous cleansing.
• Create and maintain data mapping documents to map source data attributes to Business Partner (customer/supplier) attributes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional technology and architecture groups to implement data-centric solutions.
Required Skills
• Syniti ADM for SAP (4+ years)
• Data Migration/Engineering within SAP Hana environments (2+ years)
• Technical Data Extraction from legacy systems like PeopleSoft, BAAN, or Infor LN (4+ years)
Additional Desired Skills
• Proficiency in Python, Spark, PySpark, or PL/SQL.
• Experience with Azure Data Factory, Synapse, or AWS Glue.
• Experience with Data Quality products (Informatica DQ, Talend, or Atacama).
• Master Data Management (MDM) concepts.
IDEAL CANDIDATE PROFILE The ideal candidate is a technical lead with deep expertise in SAP data migrations and the Syniti platform. They should possess a strong data analysis background, excellent documentation skills, and the ability to manage complex data conversions independently in a high-stakes environment.
