Workday Integrations Specialist
<p>The People Tech & Analytics team's mission is to enable long-term scalability by fostering a data-informed culture through seamless systems and a people-centric employee experience. As part of this mission, we're now looking for a People Tech Integrations Specialist.You'll build, integrate, and maintain the systems that keep our People operations running efficiently. You'll collaborate closely with our Workday Specialists, Payroll, Talent Acquisition, Finance, and IT teams to ensure that all core HR and payroll processes run smoothly across regions.</p>
<h3><strong>What You'll Do</strong></h3>
<ul>
<li>Design and build integrations using Workday Studio, PECI, RaaS, REST/SOAP APIs, SFTP, and vendor-specific endpoints.</li>
<li>Own the day-to-day health of integrations: monitor runs, investigate failures, analyse logs, and proactively prevent silent errors.</li>
<li>Troubleshoot complex issues caused by upstream system changes, vendor format updates, missing or late data, and timing dependencies.</li>
<li>Maintain and improve payroll integrations (e.g. APdata Brazil/Chile, ADP US), ensuring local compliance and operational stability.</li>
<li>Support and stabilise the Greenhouse ↔ Workday integration, ensuring reliable hiring and worker data flows.</li>
<li>Partner with PeopleOps to ensure lifecycle events (onboarding, job changes, transfers, terminations) sync correctly across systems.</li>
<li>Improve identity and provisioning flows with Azure to support IT onboarding and access management.</li>
<li>Create and maintain high-quality documentation: field mappings, integration diagrams, error-handling guides, runbooks, and operational checklists.</li>
<li>Coordinate testing and releases to minimise risk in production.</li>
<li>Identify and implement automation opportunities to replace manual processes with monitored, scalable integrations.</li>
</ul>
<h3><strong>You'll Be Great for This Role If You Have</strong></h3>
<ul>
<li>Hands-on experience building integrations in <strong>Workday Studio.</strong></li>
<li>Proven ownership of integrations in a <strong>production Workday environment.</strong></li>
<li>Ability to interpret vendor specifications and map complex data structures.</li>
<li>Experience supporting payroll integrations in multi-country setups.</li>
<li>Strong debugging and analytical skills across multi-system flows.</li>
<li>High documentation discipline (flow diagrams, field mappings, runbooks).</li>
<li>Comfort working cross-functionally with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.</li>
</ul>
<h3><strong>Nice-to-Have</strong></h3>
<ul>
<li>Greenhouse and Workday integration experience.</li>
<li>Experience with <strong>APdata, ADP, Payslip.com,</strong> or other payroll engines.</li>
<li>Familiarity with People or Finance tools like <strong>SAP, Ledgy, Pigment</strong>, or comparable systems.</li>
<li>Scripting knowledge (<strong>Python, JavaScript, Bash, PowerShell</strong>).</li>
<li>Exposure to <strong>Workday Extend</strong> or <strong>Workday Orchestrate.</strong></li>
