Senior Visualfiles Developer
<p><b>Salary: £55,000 - 55,000 per year</b></p>
<b>Requirements:</b>
<ul><li>Development background with at least 3 years of experience in designing, developing, and delivering bespoke legal applications (1 year for junior candidates will be considered).</li><li>Prior VisualFiles development experience.</li><li>Experience working in an Agile software development environment.</li><li>Commercial awareness and curiosity to understand the challenges faced by the firm and its clients, and develop suitable solutions.</li><li>Ability to quickly identify projects that may be at risk and communicate early to manage expectations accordingly.</li><li>An innovative mindset, with a willingness to experiment and explore new technology solutions.</li><li>Focus on application development with security in mind, ensuring data protection at all times.</li></ul>
<b>Responsibilities:</b>
<ul><li>Technical development: responsible for creating business solutions that interface with the firm's line of business applications and customizing off-the-shelf software.</li><li>Develop the case management system to ensure continual optimization of business efficiency and procedures.</li><li>Support the integration of VisualFiles with other firm-wide packages, including the practice management system.</li><li>Propose, design, and implement new and innovative systems, analyzing existing systems to identify opportunities for streamlining and performance enhancement.</li><li>Assist with business process analysis to enhance and develop workflow processes as needed.</li><li>Work closely with the Projects team to map out projects.</li><li>Workflow and integration development: build process improvement workflows across the line of business applications using available platforms, assisting others to integrate workflows into line of business applications.</li><li>Database development: design data structures and access methods to support custom development.</li><li>Data analysis: build applications for accurate management information and reporting, integrating case and financial data into developed applications.</li></ul>
