Solution Architect

<b>Responsibilities:</b>
<ul><li>As our Solution Architect, you will be entrusted with the following key responsibilities:</li><li>Business Case Development: Create comprehensive business cases that evaluate and justify the selection of SaaS solutions, conducting cost-benefit analyses and feasibility studies to support decision-making.</li><li></li><li>Requirements Gathering: Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and analyze functional and non-functional requirements, translating business needs into technical specifications and architectural designs.</li><li></li><li>RFP Evaluation: Review and assess RFP submissions to ensure alignment with business objectives and technical requirements while collaborating with stakeholders to define evaluation criteria.</li><li></li><li>Non-Functional Requirements (NFR): Identify and document NFRs like performance, scalability, and usability, ensuring that the selected solution accommodates these requirements effectively.</li><li></li><li>Architectural Design: Develop high-level architecture designs and detailed technical specifications, ensuring that the architecture is scalable, secure, and maintainable.</li><li></li><li>Security and IT Controls: Implement security best practices and compliance measures within the architecture, collaborating with security teams for risk assessments.</li><li></li><li>Architecture Artefacts: Create and maintain architectural artefacts such as diagrams and documentation to reflect the current state of the architecture.</li><li></li><li>Multi-Domain Architecture: Design solutions that operate across multiple domains, ensuring seamless integration and data flow while addressing domain-specific requirements in the architecture.</li><li></li><li>Identity Provider (IdP) SSO Integration: Lead the integration of IdP SSO solutions for secure and efficient user authentication, ensuring architecture support for various authentication protocols.</li><li></li><li>Understanding Business Functional Requirements: Engage with stakeholders to gather functional requirements, using this understanding to influence option selection and align architectural decisions with business needs.</li><li></li><li>Technical Leadership: Lead the technical aspects of SaaS deployment, guiding development teams to ensure adherence to architectural standards.</li><li></li><li>Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with product managers and developers, effectively communicating complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.</li><li></li><li>Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation, ensuring accessibility and currency for future reference.</li><li></li><li>Quality Assurance: Establish quality assurance processes to ensure solutions meet defined standards, conducting code reviews and providing feedback to development teams.</li><li></li><li>Performance Monitoring: Monitor the performance of implemented solutions, identifying areas for improvement and proposing optimizations based on performance metrics.</li></ul>

<p><b>More:</b></p>
<p>This is a contracting role based in Warwick, UK, with a hybrid working model requiring attendance in the office three days a week. We are looking to fill one position with a duration of 6 months, which may be extended. If you have experience or knowledge in Common Data Environments & Building Information Modelling (CDE & BIM) platforms, it would be beneficial but not essential. We are excited to find the right candidate who can lead and advance architectural work while supporting our product team in delivering successful outcomes.</p>
