M365 Technical Lead

<ul><li>Proven experience in large-scale Microsoft 365 tenancy consolidations or tenant-to-tenant migrations.</li><li>Strong technical skills with Microsoft 365, Entra, and Microsoft Azure.</li><li>Hands-on experience with Windows client/server systems and virtualized networks.</li><li>Knowledge of networking infrastructure, VPNs, firewalls, and hardware support.</li><li>Comfort with a hands-on technical role and team leadership.</li><li>Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.</li><li>Experience in education environments is advantageous.</li><li>Ability to deliver within an existing strategic framework while contributing ideas for improvement.</li></ul>

<ul><li>Lead the technical delivery of a complex Microsoft 365 tenant-to-tenant cloud consolidation.</li><li>Manage and provide guidance to a small team of engineers.</li><li>Collaborate with internal stakeholders, external consultants, and suppliers.</li><li>Ensure security and compliance within the Microsoft 365 environment.</li><li>Offer expert advice on Microsoft Azure, Windows systems, networking, and collaboration tools.</li><li>Implement agreed strategies efficiently, suggesting improvements when appropriate.</li><li>Lead technical issue resolution to minimize disruption.</li><li>Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences, including senior leadership.</li></ul>

<p>We are currently seeking a hands-on Microsoft 365 Technical Lead to join our educational institution in Peterborough on a hybrid basis, requiring you to be in the office for two days per month. This role offers a competitive salary of up to £85,000 per annum on a 3-year fixed-term contract. In this position, you will play a key role in delivering a major tenant-to-tenant cloud consolidation project by implementing a defined strategy and working closely with internal teams, schools, and external partners to ensure a smooth migration. Additionally, while you will have support from a small engineering team, we expect you to actively engage technically and build strong relationships across the organization.</p>
