<b>Requirements:</b>
<ul><li>Ideally, you will have 7 years of experience in a software development role in financial technology, specifically trading.</li><li>Essential to have worked with C#, C++, SQL, and .NET.</li><li>Must have experience as a line manager or mentor of people in technical roles.</li><li>Strong organizational skills, including management of Jira, are required.</li><li>You should possess a strong technical mindset and a desire to be a product knowledge expert.</li><li>Strong interpersonal skills are necessary, along with comfort in speaking directly with customers when needed.</li><li>We seek someone who is extremely resilient, has a positive attitude, and can persevere through challenging situations to completion.</li><li>A Bachelor's Degree (or equivalent) is required.</li><li>Ideally, you should have a background in financial services, preferably in FX or crypto trading.</li></ul>
<b>Responsibilities:</b>
<ul><li>I will oversee resource and project management across both the Development and QA functions.</li><li>I will manage the performance of all direct reports, including conducting regular 1-2-1s and annual appraisals, and support their professional development.</li><li>Monthly reports will be delivered to the CEO/COO on department progress.</li><li>I will work closely with the head of client services to prioritize new fixes and features.</li><li>Ensuring that tracking tools such as Jira and TFS are used to the highest standards will be crucial.</li><li>I will contribute to the product roadmap.</li><li>I'll act as a point of internal escalation for the company's on-call support line alongside other management team members.</li><li>Actively developing products when needed, I will spend 20% of my time on development and 80% on management responsibilities.</li></ul>
