Software Engineer
<p><b>Salary: £85,000 - 85,000 per year</b></p>
<b>Requirements:</b>
<ul><li>Proficiency in one or more of the following programming languages: C, C++, Java, or C#.</li><li>Familiarity with scripting and automation using Python, Bash, PowerShell, or Groovy.</li><li>Experience working with reverse engineering tools such as IDA Pro or Ghidra.</li><li>Experience with Linux or Windows-based systems.</li><li>Awareness of secure coding practices and modern cybersecurity threats.</li><li>Knowledge of Agile methodologies.</li><li>Desirable Exposure:</li><li>Any exposure to AI, ML, Cloud, or Virtualisation will be considered a plus.</li><li>Active eDV security clearance is required.</li></ul>
<b>Responsibilities:</b>
<ul><li>Conduct software analysis and reverse engineering of compiled or interpreted code that may be obfuscated or defensively structured, targeting x86/x64 or ARM processor architectures.</li><li>Reverse engineer various technologies to uncover vulnerabilities and enhance security, including operating systems, firmware internals, security architectures, and hardware abstraction.</li><li>Engineer software from design to delivery using modern IDEs and programming languages within an Agile framework.</li><li>Create code that is both tested and testable, integrating with automated verification systems and CI/CD pipelines.</li><li>Collaborate closely with cybersecurity teams to prioritize vulnerabilities and implement patching strategies.</li><li>Work in Agile teams to deliver innovative, secure, and robust technical solutions.</li></ul>
