C++ Software Engineer
<p><b>Salary: £60,000 - 60,000 per year</b></p>
<b>Requirements:</b>
<ul><li>Strong background in modelling/simulation software development.</li><li>Strong C++ programming skills.</li><li>Experience with Visual Studio/Windows development tools.</li><li>Knowledge of RF, countermeasure, and flyout simulation tools, ideally gained within a defence setting.</li><li>Radar systems expertise.</li><li>Background in physics, engineering, or maths.</li><li>Clear communication skills to explain/adapt models.</li><li>UK National and eligible to work in the UK.</li><li>Eligible to obtain and maintain a UK Government SC-level security clearance.</li></ul>
<b>Responsibilities:</b>
<ul><li>As a C++ Software Engineer in our Electronic Warfare Operations Support (EWOS) team, I will be responsible for:</li><li>Developing toolsets, models, and integration activities in the ITASE framework.</li><li>Incorporating or adapting additional existing Dstl data/models (e.g., signatures) into studies.</li><li>Library linking, development from theory, and re-coding of existing algorithms and data.</li><li>Understanding and aligning assumptions and data across components.</li><li>Understanding and implementing the interactions of multiple entities in a scenario.</li></ul>
