IT Support Engineer
<p><b>Salary: £28,000 - 28,000 per year</b></p>
<b>Requirements:</b>
<ul><li>I am looking for a candidate with experience in IT technical support, preferably with a background in troubleshooting 1st or 2nd line level enquiries.</li><li>You should have working knowledge of O365, Windows 10, and server environments (2016/2019), along with exposure to firewall security.</li><li>Strong problem-solving abilities and effective collaboration skills are essential, particularly in working closely with our IT manager based in Burton.</li><li>Experience with networking systems including routers, switches, WiFi backups, and VOIP systems is highly desirable.</li><li>Familiarity with CISCO networking, as well as DNS and DHCP knowledge, would be advantageous.</li><li>A valid driver's license and access to a car are required as this position is onsite five days a week.</li></ul>

<ul><li>You will be responsible for supporting our technical estate, which includes desktops, laptops, printers, scanners, touchscreens, and internal telephone systems.</li><li>I expect you to manage service desk tickets through our JIRA system, ensuring that requests are responded to within agreed SLAs.</li><li>You will play a vital role in bringing a fully functional IT specialist team in-house and providing technical support across our three core sites in Glasgow, Scunthorpe, and Burton.</li><li>You'll gain valuable experience working with core networking systems, enhancing both your skills and our team's capabilities.</li></ul>
